A US judge has refused to allow Castleton Commodities to seize bunkers on a bulker in its dispute with Hudson Shipping Lines.
US District Judge Lynn Hughes, of the US federal court in Houston, issued a one-sentence order today rejecting the commodities company's request to seize fuel on the 77,100-dwt Nord Hydra (built 2014).
He said Castleton cannot support its claim that the bunkers on the bulker belongs to Hudson, an Illinois-based operator of chartered-in ships.
