Rod Jones is retiring as chief executive at Canada’s CSL Group, and he will be replaced by Louis Martel, the bulker owner said Tuesday.
Jones’ exit follows a 30-year career at the Martin family-controlled company, including nine years at the helm. He steps down at the end of March.
Montreal-based CSL credited Jones with helping to transform the company from a Great Lakes-focused outfit into the world’s largest owner of self-unloading bulkers.
