ING Bank has filed a lawsuit targeting a Rainbow Shipmanagement-controlled bulker over OW Bunker debts allegedly left unpaid by Global Maritime Investments (GMI).
District Judge Sarah Vance, of the US federal court in New Orleans, has issued an arrest warrant against the 76,000-dwt Theofano (built 2002).
A representative for Greece's Rainbow says the vessel has not been arrested and that negotiations are under way, but court records show the arrest order remains in place.
