The sale price was not disclosed but the buyer is Hartland Shipping Services controlled by senior management of the broking group.
The shipbroker which has a staff of about 30 based in London and Shanghai is focussed on sale and purchase transactions particularly Chinese newbuildings and dry cargo chartering. It is also a member of the Baltic Exchange panel that sets the handysized shipping index.
