Hagland Shipping in Haugesund is boosting its fleet by taking two self-unloading bulkers on long-term charters.
The ships are the 4,900-dwt Famita and Falksea (both built 2002), which have been fixed from Misje Rederi in Bergen and Falkeid Shipping in Finnoy, respectively.
Managing director Arne W Aanensen of Hagland says this means the company is strengthening its position as a leading operator of self-unloading bulkers in northern Europe.
