A former Greek shipowner has been convicted of smuggling more than 2 tons of heroin into the country.
Makis Yiannousakis and ship agent Giorgos Bourdouvalis were found guilty, together with seven other defendants, in a case dating back to 2014.
But they were cleared of running a criminal organisation.
The Kathimerini daily said sentences are due in the next few days. Their lawyers have asked for a series of extenuating circumstances to be considered.
