A Greek company in control of a number of special purpose acquisition vehicles is behind the proposed purchase of up to six bulker newbuildings from Norden.
The Dane is in advanced stages of negotiating the sale of the handysize units on order at a Chinese yard to the mystery buyer.
Norden has entered into a “conditional agreement” with unidentified “Greek interests” over the proposed sale of up to six 32,700-dwt units.
