A Turkish cargoship came under fire from the Hellenic Coast Guard (HCG) after it refused to dock for inspection in Greek waters yesterday.
The incident involving the 4,298-dwt Act (built 1986) took place off Rhodes, some 15 miles from the Turkish coast.
Sami Kalkavan, captain of the Act, told CNN Turk that HCG ordered him to dock in Rhodes for inspection.
