A Greek bulker with 24 deficiencies was one of four ships raise the ire of inspectors in the UK in August.



A Japanese car carrier and a German multi-purpose vessel also made it onto the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA)’s hit list last month while another Greek bulker nabbed in July was let go.

Firodi Shipping’s 37,100-dwt bulker Feroi (built 1983) was collared at the port of Tilbury ear the end of August with a raft of deficiencies, five of which provided inspectors with grounds for detention.



“The
