Tonnage-hungry Great Eastern Shipping of India has continued its buying spree with the capture of a supramax.
It said it had signed a contract to acquire a 52,450-dwt bulker built in 2006.
The only vessel in the world fleet that matches this specification is the Tenshou Maru, owned by Tsuneishi Holdings of Japan.
The ship will join the fleet in the first quarter of the 2018 financial year.
