Great Eastern Shipping has secured a profitable charter, with Cargill extending the Indian company's sole capesize bulker for another year.
European brokers say the 179,000-dwt Jag Anand (built 2011) has been fixed at $20,500 per day.
The charter adds to what has been a well-timed acquisition for Great Eastern, which purchased the vessel from K Line in June 2016 for $24.5m.
