The share price of Genco Shipping & Trading was down almost 12% in morning trading in New York after the company announced pricing of a 7.5m batch of shares it plans to issue.
The new shares are to be priced at $7.10 with gross proceeds expected to run to $53.25m.
The offer is close to market expectations but nevertheless hit the Genco share price which fell to $7.28
