Fitch Ratings has said bulkers and boxships appear to be most at risk from the US and China's trade war over import tariffs.
But it added that the degree of impact will depend on how flexible owners are in terms of being able to shift cargo volumes to other destinations.
The US recently announced potential tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.
