Liquidators of Farenco Shipping Co Ltd (Farenco BVI) have turned to the US courts to target Singapore and Hong Kong affiliates of China's Farenco group.
On Thursday a US judge issued orders allowing extensive discovery of bank documents and other evidence that might link the bankrupt British Virgin Islands (BVI) bulker operator with former sister companies Farenco Shipping Pte Ltd of Singapore and Farenco Transportation Co Ltd of Hong Kong.
