Greece’s Evalend Shipping is still chasing an arbitration award worth $186,000 against a charterer it believes to be part of China’s Nanjing Ocean Shipping Co (Nasco).
The award, granted by London arbitrators at the end of April, concerns a dispute over the loading of iron ore in December 2016 onto the 58,800-dwt Consolidator (built 2007), a bulker under Evalend’s management.
