Euroseas launched arbitration after cancelling a bulker newbuilding, and the company turned another order into an optional unit.
The New York-listed bulker and containership owner said it cancelled the 63,500-dwt Alexandros P, an ultramax that is under construction at Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group's Dayang shipyard.
The bulker was scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of this year, but Athens-based Euroseas said it suffered "excessive delays".
