Tough and sustained measured can haul the dry cargo market back to profit by 2019, Philippe Louis-Dreyfus says.
The shipowner and Bimco president says the bulk sector is in a terrible condition, with scrapping and zero orders required to balance the market.
“We cannot expect to be helped by growth in demand, the recovery of the market is wholly and exclusively in the hands of us, the shipowners,” he said as Bimco released its latest market analysis.
