A drunk cargoship captain has been arrested in Sweden after nearly running his ship aground.
The Kvalls Posten daily reported that the 2,100-dwt Helt (built 1985) was seen by authorities making a course change towards the shore at Glumslov on Friday night.
Attempts to reach the captain via radio failed. The coast guard then sent two boats to the vessel, which swerved at the last moment.
