Diana Shipping is seeing better earnings on one of its panamax ships as rates rebound from summer depths.
The Simeon Palios-led company said Glencore Agriculture will charter an ice class panamax 77,525-dwt Crystalia (built 2014) for a gross charter rate of $11,100 per day, less a 5% commission, for a terms between 12 and 15 months.
The Crystalia was previously on hire to SwissMarine Services at a gross charter rate of $6,250 per day.
