A Diana Shipping subsidiary has inked a $16,000 per day charter with SwissMarine Services.
The Greek dry bulk player said the 179,362-dwt Seattle (built 2011) will head out on Christmas Day for between 16 and 19 months in a deal expected to net the company a total of $7.8m.
The charter is just about at market rates, per the Baltic Exchange's Capesize Index.
