A Cosco panamax bulker has been arrested in Singapore but it is not immediately clear if the move represents a new flare up of the high profile chartering disputes the Chinese shipping giant was involved in earlier this year.
The 74,000-dwt Song Shan Hai (built 1998) was seized by the sheriff of Singapore’s supreme court but no details of the underlying claim have been released so far.
