A Chinese-owned supramax bulker has reportedly been arrested in Singapore, latest court documents show.
The 52,394-dwt Rui Ning 1 (built 2001) was detained by Singapore’s admiralty sheriff at lunchtime on Thursday, TradeWinds understands.
The vessel, which is said to be controlled by Shanghai Leading Energy Shipping, was detained on the instructions of law firm Ooon & Bazul LLC.
