The Nasdaq-listed company says180,000-dwt vessels will be built by Daehan Shipyard in South Korea and are duefor delivery in 2015.
In its third-quarter earnings report itsaid the units will be equipped with technologies and design elements aimed atenhancing fuel efficiency.
“The board is of the opinion that thecompany has obtained favourable terms and attractive pricing for itsnewbuilding program which now consists of four capesize bulk carriers,” itadded.
