Chinese bulker owner and operator Beibu Gulf Shipping (BG Shipping) is again reported to have sold its oldest ship, a nine-year-old kamsarmax.
European brokers said the company has offloaded the 82,000-dwt BBG Ambition (built 2009) to low-profile US player SwiftBulk for $17.2m.
The price is within the range of estimates by VesselsValue and Maritime Strategies International, which put the ship's value at between $15.4m
