Clarksons on Monday announced theopening of a new dry cargo broking operation in Manhattan that will be headedby industry veteran Philipp Bau, who spent nearly a decade with LB Chartering (LB)prior to this appointment.
In a statement the UK-headquartered firmnoted the team also includes Duane Pelz, who worked at LB for six months beforejumping ship, and Douglas Newton, an existing Clarksons staffer who transferredto New York from its satellite in Singapore.
