A SwissMarine-chartered bulker has made a historic transit through one set of the new locks in the Panama Canal.
The 114,000-dwt bulker Baroque (built 2016) took the journey through the new locks on the Atlantic side as part of a series of test and training transits, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) said Thursday.
The government agency chartered the Golden Union-owned ship for the testing.
