Azuma Shipping has returned to the black in the first half but is forecasting a slower second six-month period.
The Japanese cement carrier owner has also kept its full-year forecasts intact despite the small profit increase.
Net profit for the six months to the end of September was JPY 152m ($1.87m) as against a loss of JPY 136m a year earlier.
Sales were significantly up from JPY 17.24bn
