The Dimitris Marinis-led company tells TradeWinds that at least one of its creditors has asked Greek authorities to commence insolvency proceedings in Piraeus.
Allied’s in-house attorney, Alan Parr, says trading ceased after an injection from outside investors failed to materialise earlier this summer.
“At this point we have very few options,” he added. “We are doing our best to cooperate with the court and our counterparties and are hoping for a soft landing.”
Parr
