Indonesian shipowner Djakarta Lloyd is pushing ahead with its transformation from a boxship into a bulker player, inviting brokers and shipowners to submit tenders for a secondhand supramax.
Candidates of between 50,000 dwt and 60,000 dwt, and built no earlier than 2004, were due to be examined this week.
After several years of financial struggle that brought it to the brink of bankruptcy, Djakarta Lloyd recently completed a major restructuring.
