Oslo-listed Star Reefers has turned in a $5.2m net profit for last year, slightly down on 2002's $5.3m, only with the help of a gain on ship sales.
A month ago the company controlled by Kristian Siem estimated 2003 net profit at $5m based on a $5.4m gain from the sale of ships and subsidiaries. The profit on sales has now been stated at $6.1m.
