Dutch dredger owner Jan De Nul has signed up for a new specialist ship at La Naval in Spain.
The 191-metre Jules Verne will be used by mining company Nautilus Minerals for its deep-sea copper and gold mining project, Solwara 1, off Papua New Guinea.
Nautilus boss David Heydon: "The signing of the building contract with the shipyard for Jules Verne is a major step forward in the delivery of the Solwara 1 project."
