Eight hundred tonnes of crude oil spilled from an oil rig off the west coast of Norway have been turned into popcorn.
The popcorn is being used in an oil spill drill today to simulate the oil as it forms an oil-like emulsion when it absorbs water and mimics the effects of ocean current on a spill.
