The Panama-flag, 46,640-dwt bulk carrier (built 1999) was found to have bypassed the oily water separator and dumped oily wastes when it docked in Portland, Oregon, to load grain in August last year.
Last week in a court in Portland the owners were named as Grus Line Shipping of Panama and MMS Co Ltd of Tokyo, but several databases attribute ownership to NYK, as has been reported in good faith by Tradewinds Today.
