A three-day general strike in Nigeria over rises in the price of fuel has been suspended by the unions.
The move follows a court ruling last week that ordered the unions back to work and the government to cut the price of petrol. Unions in the Nigerian Labour Congress said they were putting the strike oh hold for seven days to give the government more time to implement the court order.
