A dumped anchor and a concrete slab have been identified by investigators as objects on the bed of the Delaware River likely to have been hit by the Tsakos tanker Athos 1, causing a major oil spill.
The anchor was brought up from the river on Monday after being discovered by divers who also found the 8ft-by-4ft concrete slab.
