Danish ferry operator MOLS-Linien has turned in a small profit for the first-half of 2004, reversing the losses suffered by the line in 2003.
The Ebeltoft-based company, which operates six ferries on routes around Denmark, logged net income of DKK 6m ($975,000) for the first six months of the year.
This compared to a heavy loss of DKK 33.4m in the same period last year, which the company attributed to lay-up costs resulting from a cancelled charter.
