Readers of the TradeWinds website have handed Evangelos Marinakis a resounding victory in the spat that flared up with Tobias Konig following comments the German KG manager made at the Maritime Cyprus conference last week.
With the email poll now closed, it can be revealed that Marinakis held on for a comfortable victory despite a last-minute flurry of support for his German rival.
By noon on Friday, Marinakis had 67% of the votes, with Konig trailing on 23%.
