French food company Danone has said it is selling bottled water company Italaquae to Carlo Pontecorvo’s LGR Holding, owner of Italy's LGR di Navigazione.
LGR is more usually associated with oil products and its fleet of six tankers. It is part of Torm’s MR pool.
Italaquae owns mineral water brands including Ferrarelle, Boario and Natia, and officially distributes Evian in Italy.
The company generates an average annual turnover of EUR 140m ($182.6m).
