Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI)and affiliate Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) have restated recent profits.
HHI cuts its net profit for 2003 by 6.7% to KRW 113.9bn ($97m) while widening its loss in 2002 by 43% to KRW 350.9bn.
The world's biggest shipbuilder said changes to the method of calculating average wages meant it set aside more provisions for severance pay in the two years.
