Varun Shipping’s managing director Yudhishthir Khatau has been elected president of the Indian National Shipowners' Association (INSA) at its 25th annual general meeting.
A board member since 1999, Khatau served as vice-president of the association for 2004-05, the Economic Times reported.
Khatau replaces PK Srivastava, who has retired as chairman and managing director of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI). He was INSA president for four years.
