Forged International Ship and Port Facility Security Code documents are changing hands on the black market, the head of a security firm claimed today.
Neil Fisher, director of the security arm of UK high-technology firm Qinetiq, used the day the ISPS Code came into effect to warn the “flawed implementation" may allow corners to be cut, ignoring the "very real threat of terrorism”.
