John Fredriksen’s Deep Sea Supply (DESS) has announced a deal to buy three offshore vessel resales.
It said it will buy a VS 470 MkII platform supply ship due from a Norwegian yard, reportedly Karmsund, in May 2008, plus two 12,000-bhp anchor-handlers from Singapore.
These will be delivered in December 2008 and March 2009.
The Oslo-listed owner gave no further details, but said the total price for all three was $100m.
