Survivors of the Bow Mariner disaster could face criminal charges after it emerged subpoenas had been issued for their appearance before a federal grand jury next week.
Four of the six Filipino seamen who survived the explosion and fire which sank the chemical tanker have so far refused to answer any questions and may take the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination on March 24 before the grand jury.
