Finnish ferry owner Birka Line’s subsidiary Birka Cargo has agreed to sell its 10-200-gt freight ro-ro Kent Loyalist (built 1985) to Westwood Shipping Lines of the US.
The price was not disclosed, but Birka said the deal would have a positive effect on its result in either 2005 or 2006, depending on when the vessel is handed over.
Kent Loyalist was the odd one out in Birka Cargo’s seven-ship fleet.
