A deal that is expected to give a boost to the wider use of FPSO’s in gas projects has been signed between Bergesen Worldwide and Malaysia International Shipping Corp (MISC).
Bergesen has already converted a couple of 1970s built LPG carriers into floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units and the deal could give a further lease of life to other older gas carriers.
