Greek passengership operator Anek Lines of Crete has sold its 1972-built ferry Aptera as part of a fleet modernization programme.
The company has not revealed any details of the sale, but shipping sources said the 9,666-gt vessels had gone to Far East interests for around $6.7m.
The sale reduces Anek’s fleet to ten units, five of which are operating on the cross-Adriatic routes and four domestically.
