Norway’s Aker Yards has bought more of its own shares following the exit of its parent Aker from the business.

It said 55,000 shares were bought at NOK 505.51 each, a total outlay of NOK 27.8m ($4.55m), which has built its stake from 1.76% to 2%.

The stock was trading at about NOK 512 in Oslo on Thursday morning, but fell from NOK 530 after Aker made the announcement of the share sale earlier this month.
