Stena Lines has turned to compatriot shipowner Gotlandsbolaget to timecharter in more ro-ro capacity for its Baltic Sea South.
The Swedish shipowner has fixed the 7,600-gt Gute (built 1979) to run on its operation between Gdynia, Poland and Karlskrona in Sweden.
Stena said the number of freight units on the route increased significantly last year and the growth has continued in the first eight months of 2017.
