Miami based Royal Caribbean Cruises revealed today that it has entered into an agreement with French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique for a 231,000-gt cruiseship.
The vessel will be the sixth vessel of the company’s Oasis-class cruiseship, which are currently the largest in the world.
The as-yet unnamed newbuilding is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2023.
No pricing details have been disclosed, but other units of the type have reportedly cost in excess of $1.3
