Canadian expedition cruise operator One Ocean Expeditions says it is in the process of restructuring due to difficulties caused by a Russian shipowner withdrawing two of the three expedition cruiseships it operates on charter.
At the same time the company has been forced to cancel a cruise to Antarctica on its sole remaining ship, the 8,400-gt ice-class cruiseship RCGS Resolute (built 1991) due to an inability to procure fuel for the voyage.
